Full description

Omega Subsea is looking for a ROV Tooling Coordinator with a technical ROV background and a strong understanding of ROV tooling. Relevant experience with ROV tooling is key to this role, whether gained offshore or through work with a subsea rental company or similar.

The role is part of our growing ROV Tooling Department, established to support the continued development of our subsea tooling business. We provide, manufacture, and support advanced ROV tooling for safer, smarter, and more efficient offshore operations.

As ROV Tooling Coordinator, you will coordinate ROV tooling for rental and sale and contribute to the technical development, standardization, and lifecycle management of our tooling systems.

Working closely with offshore personnel, project teams, customers, and manufacturing partners, you will help ensure reliable and fit-for-purpose tooling solutions.

Key responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for Omega Subsea’s ROV and Project teams regarding the rental and sale of ROV tooling. Maintain an accurate overview of ROV tooling assets across company facilities and projects. Coordinate tooling movements to and from projects, ensuring equipment availability and traceability.

Support the planning and allocation of tooling according to project requirements. Develop and improve procedures for equipment control, certification, validation, and readiness. Ensure tooling documentation and asset records are accurate and up to date.

Contribute to efficient collaboration between project teams, technical personnel, facilities, and external partners. Build strong knowledge of a broad range of ROV tooling and technical equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of experience from the oil and gas sector, with a technical ROV background. Relevant experience with ROV tooling, either from offshore operations or from a subsea rental company or similar environment. Technical understanding of ROV tooling and offshore equipment.

Knowledge of hydraulic systems is highly desirable. Experience from a subsea rental company, particularly with ROV tooling, is highly desirable. The ability and motivation to learn about a wide range of technical equipment are essential. Relevant practical experience may compensate for formal education.

Comfortable using digital systems for asset tracking, documentation, and coordination. Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage. Personal qualities: Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain control of multiple assets and activities.
