We are looking for an AI Architect to join our team in our Oslo or Stavanger offices. Join us in developing practical AI solutions that help our people make better decisions, work more efficiently and solve some of the energy industry’s most complex challenges.
What will you be doing?
- Develop reusable standards, reference architectures, design and orchestration patterns, and best practices that accelerate AI adoption while reducing fragmentation across the organisation

- Design and shape scalable AI and agent-based solution architectures that align with business needs, enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy
- Partner with business units, technical teams and stakeholders to translate AI opportunities into practical, secure and maintainable solution designs
- Define architecture patterns, integration approaches and orchestration frameworks that enable AI systems, platforms and services to work effectively together
- Embed governance, security, reliability and operational requirements into AI architectures, ensuring solutions can be deployed and managed responsibly at scale
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate retrieval, data and semantic architecture approaches, including structured, vector, graph and hybrid patterns where relevant
We think you should have
- A bachelor's degree or higher within Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field.
- Relevant professional experience may compensate for a lack of formal education
- Strong experience in enterprise, solution or technology architecture, with a proven ability to design scalable systems and guide technical decision-making across complex environments
- Good understanding of AI and data-driven solutions, including agentic AI, machine learning, orchestration patterns, integration design and modern cloud platforms
- Experience balancing business requirements with architecture principles such as scalability, resilience, security, governance and operational efficiency
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology ecosystem, particularly Azure, including its core cloud services, architecture concepts, APIs, integration patterns and enterprise platform capabilities
- Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What we offer

- Well-being: access to free fitness facilities, sport groups and equipment rental, and a variety of cabins for rent
- Remote work flexibility: work from home up to two days per week
